Authorities in Cambria County say a Jackson Township man is facing charges after being accused of inappropriately touching a 5-year-old girl.

Police say the incident reportedly occurred last month at a residence in Richland Township.

Investigators say the victim accused 20-year-old Kevin Bryner of touching her under her clothing.

According to the affidavit, police say the victim also referred to Bryner as a "bad guy" and stated that he "doesn't keep her safe."

Police say when they questioned Bryner about the allegations, he explained that the victim was sitting on his lap and the two were playing with her toys.

Authorities say Bryner added that "if anything happened, it was probably an accident."

Police say Bryner later stated that he allegedly has "memory issues" and "sometimes things are a blur to him."

Officers say he later explained that he has often done things that he reportedly does not remember.

According to online court records, Bryner faces charges of felony corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and indecent assault.
