Authorities say a truck crashed into a Clearfield County post office Saturday morning. The crash has closed the small-town office in Grampian until further notice.

Whatever damage was done to the building's exterior was boarded up by Sunday.

Until they repair the post office, those who use Grampian's post office will have to send their mail from Curwensville.

Grampian Penn Bloom Volunteer Fire Company posted to Facebook on Saturday that they were alerted to the crash at 10:35 that morning. With the post office next door to the firehouse, they said they responded quickly.

Once at the scene, the fire company said they found a pickup truck stuck inside the post office.

They said a person inside the truck freed themselves from the vehicle, but was trapped in the building until they said crews rescued them.

The fire company added that said person was taken to a hospital in DuBois, with minor injuries.

Pennsylvania State Police declined to provide further details.
